Refund & Cancellation Policy

ProveIQ (operated by Talpro India) is committed to fair, transparent refunds and predictable cancellations. This page is a binding supplement to our Terms of Service §6 and is the canonical refund policy referenced from our Razorpay merchant dashboard.

1. Scope

This policy covers all paid ProveIQ products purchased via Razorpay on proveiq.in, including (but not limited to): Growth (₹4,999/month or ₹3,999/month billed annually), Enterprise (custom), and any future one-time credit packs.

2. Monthly plans — 7-day satisfaction window

  • Eligibility: You may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial purchase of your first paid month, provided you have not posted more than 2 internship briefs and no candidate has submitted evaluated work against your brief.
  • Process: Email billing@proveiq.in with your account email, Razorpay payment ID, and reason. We acknowledge within 48 hours.
  • Outcome: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Razorpay's own settlement time may add 1–3 days on top.
  • Renewals: Subsequent monthly renewals are non-refundable. Cancel from your billing dashboard any time before the next charge date to stop future invoices.

3. Annual plans — 14-day pro-rated window

  • Eligibility: Annual plans carry a 14-day full-refund window from purchase date.
  • Beyond 14 days: Pro-rated refund equal to (12 − months consumed) × effective monthly price, minus a flat ₹999 administrative fee. Consumed months are counted as any month where internship briefs or evaluations were active.
  • Process: Same as §2 above. Include plan anniversary date in your request.

4. Enterprise plans

Enterprise refunds follow the commercial terms executed in the signed order form or Master Services Agreement (MSA). In absence of a custom clause, §3 applies.

5. Non-refundable items

  • Completed candidate evaluations (AI compute cost is consumed at time of scoring).
  • Issued certificates and downloaded PDFs.
  • Add-on credit packs where credits have been consumed.
  • Payment-gateway fees charged by Razorpay (2%) — these are forwarded to the gateway and cannot be reclaimed.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from Dashboard → Billing or by emailing billing@proveiq.in. Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the next billing cycle; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. No data is deleted on cancellation — download via the Data Subject Access endpoint before requesting erasure.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without contacting support first may result in permanent account suspension and blacklisting under our Acceptable Use clause. Fraudulent chargebacks are reported to Razorpay RuPay and relevant regulators.

8. Disputes

Refund disputes escalate to the Grievance Officer (see Privacy Policy §12 Grievance Officer) within 30 days. Unresolved disputes after 30 days may be referred to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, with jurisdiction in Bangalore, Karnataka.

We may update this policy. Material changes affect only new purchases after the effective date; refunds on pre-existing subscriptions follow the policy in effect at purchase time.
